At Cloudbase Kenya, our training program is designed to turn beginners into confident, independent paragliding pilots. No experience needed—just curiosity and the thrill of trying something new!

As the training area is outside of Nairobi, Cloudbase Kenya offers 3 day block training sessions including accommodation.

PAK1 Level: Ground Training  / Price: $450

• Training Equipment: Supplied by Cloudbase Kenya

• Duration: 3 days

• Curriculum:

  • Paragliding theory

  • Training on proper paraglider launch techniques (pull-ups) and initial ground handling

  • Low flights to familiarize with paraglider control

• Result: Upon completion, students will possess the ability to manage a paraglider independently on the ground.

• Price includes 3 nights hb accommodation close to training hill & road transport

PAK2 Level: Basic Flight Training  / Price: $450

• Personal Equipment: Required for this level

• Duration: 3 days

• Curriculum:

  • Advanced paragliding theory

  • Practice short flights in still air, along with 8 flights from a higher altitude (radio-assisted)

• Result: By the end of the course, students will be capable of flying in still air conditions (under radio assistance)

• Price includes 3 nights hb accommodation close to training hill & road transport

​​Cloudbase Kenya follows the PAK Training Level curriculum.

Upon successful completion of each training level, participants will receive their PAK Level Basic License endorsement.
