February 2025
Kenyan Wilderness and Exploring Tanzania

The trip will start with an Airport Transfer from Nairobi International to a flying spot named Ulu south of Nairobi. We will stay in a cozy cottage and ridge soar over an untouched rainforest, inside an enchanted wildlife conservancy.

After Ulu we will travel south through the Tsavo plains and head into the Chyulu Hills National Park. We will be camping in the wild and paragliding over the rounded grass covered hills of the national park. An absolute treat!

From the Chyulu Hills we will head further south to the fabulous Kenyan south coast, where we will check into a nice beach front hotel to enjoy some rest. There are options to go kitesurfing, diving or go soaring in the Shimba Hills.

We then take a day long trip along the coastline to cross the border into Tanzania and then head northwest into the huge Usambara Mountains, where will stay close to takeoff in a hotel and enjoy the epic Tanzanian lush thermals for some great XC time.

From there we head farther northwest to  Arusha, at the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro, where you will catch a flight back to Nairobi International Airport.

This really is a special tour, as it combines flying from very special spots, some beach time and a taste of flying the grand Usamabara Mountains in Tanzania!
