Safari Paragliding Road Trip #2
If you are the type of pilot who likes the African Wilderness but also loves kitesurfing or scuba diving then read on!
1. Kaseve
The trip starts with an Airport Transfer from Nairobi International to a cozy hotel 1h south of Nairobi to warm up with an evening soaring session along a wonderful ridge with a breathtaking landscape at sunset.
2. Chyulu Hills
After one night we travel 5h south into wild Chyulu Hills National Park where we camp &fly for 3nights completely offgrid in the wilderness, close to takeoff. An unforgettable wilderness experience!
Tents and sleeping bags are provided and we will have dinners and breakfast ready you.
3. Diani Beach
From Chyulu Hills National Park we drive 5h SE to the southcoast of Kenya named Diani Beach, a true paradise during the winter months. Rent kitesurfing gear and play in the reef waves, go scuba diving or just relax for 4 nights at beach front hotel.
4. Rift Valley
From Diani Beach Airport, you will take a 1h regional flight back to Nairobi International where our usual Landcruiser 4x4 will pick you up and drive you 3h into the Rift Valley to stay in a little lodge for 3 nights and enjoy epic paragliding from Kijabe Hill with a chance to walk with wild life on an excursion or hike up or fly over the Mt Longonot crator 5km away from takeoff.
5. Kerio Valley
We then proceed further north on our way across the equator to the Kerio Valley but stop at Nakuru National Park for a 3h Game Drive. We then proceed to the fabulous Kerio Valley, staying for another 5 nights to enjoy the magical thermodynamic ridge soaring at one of the longest cliffs in the world!
End of Trip
The trip ends with a 2h regional flight travel back to Nairobi International Airport, where you catch your International Flight home.

What to bring

Glider in fully serviceable condition and suitable for your flying level. We recommend the take-off weight should be in the upper third of the weight range, since we almost always fly in stronger wind conditions. A playful B glider is more suitable than a high-performance racing machine

Harness with a foam protector - light harnesses are not ideal.
