From Bush to Beach (Dec - March / approx. 10 days or more)
Savanna, Rift & Kerio Valley
The trip starts with an Airport Transfer from Nairobi International to a flying spot south of Nairobi. We will stay in a cozy cottage and ridge soar over an untouched rainforest, inside an enchanted wildlife conservancy.
The next day we will travel north through the Great Rift Valley for dynamic flying with exciting cross-country potential. We will stay comfortably at a hotel, perfectly located for both flying and sightseeing.
We then travel by road over the equator and stay in a famous Resort, perched on the edge of the Kerio Valley. For pilots, this is a world-class site with reliable ridge lift, strong thermals, and long flying windows—ideal for extended airtime and XC training, with the takeoff just a few steps from the your room.
From the Kerio Valley we take a regional flight back to Nairobi and are picked up by a safari car which drives us south of Nairobi again, from where we will venture out flying spectacular XC sites.
Your trip concludes with a short drive to Nairobi International Airport, where you'll connect to your outbound flight.
After your inland adventures, there is the option to unwind with a quick regional flight to Diani Beach, the famous south coast of Kenya, where white sand and warm Indian Ocean waters await.
Stay at a relaxing seaside accommodation tailored to your budget.
Optional activities are Kitesurfing, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, or simply basking in the sun—Diani offers a perfect blend of activity and leisure in an idyllic coastal setting.
